The Airlink101 802.11g Wireless Card bus/PCI Adapter helps add wireless capabilities to ones wireless device. The device has a wireless encryption data of 64/128/152-bit WEP and a backward compatible of 802.11b. It is fitted with IEEE 802.11g/b that supports up to 11/54 Mbps data rates and also enables the use of WPA2-PSK and WPA-PSK for an added security. The product also features an interface of 32 bit, and a frequency band of 2.400 - 2.4835GHz (Industrial Scientific Medical Band). The security features include a 128-bit WEP - WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK - WPS Support system. The Airlink101 802.11g Wireless Card bus/PCI Adapter has an improved signal strength that uses the MIMO XR architecture. It also supports a higher coverage output than other standard devices. This not only helps in the elimination of dead spots but also in improving transmission of signals in multi storied buildings. The improved signal transmission is further made possible by the devices frequency band of 2.4 GHz and a built in antennae. The system has a 300 MHz processor or windows 98SE/2000/ME/XP of 64 MB RAM.
